Happy Hobbit Day!

Yes, it's Hobbit Day, aka Bilbo and Frodo Baggins' birthdays!  Not a national holiday, but definitely a geeky one!

How to celebrate? Here's a few ideas:
  1. Back-to-back marathon of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. And, frankly, you'll have to go with the uncut editions.  So you're looking at spending the rest of your days watching LOTR.  Have fun!
  2. Read The Hobbit.  Or excerpts, at least.
  3. Make a hobbit-y dinner.  You know, a typical meat-and-potato type meal.  And mushrooms.  LOTS of mushrooms. Oh, and bacon...
  4. Watch This...well, this may be mixing two totally different things, but who cares?  It's sure to make you laugh.

  1. Okay...so I have to say, I just noticed this, because last week and last weekend were very hectic and busy for me. Very cool. I can't believe I missed this day. Too awesome.

And btw...that youtube link was awesome! Random, but awesome! (What the heck were they doing? Was that considered dancing at some point in history? Like...hundreds of years ago? :P)
