Wholesale Keychains Pink Digital Photo Keychain [Review]

Ever since I first saw a Digital Photo frame in stores, I've wanted one.  Unfortunately, they were incredibly expensive at the time, and I knew I'd never be able to afford one.  That's why I jumped at the chance to review Wholesale Keychains' Pink Digital Photo Keychain!

I have gotten keychains from Wholesale Keychains before, and I knew the quality was great, so I was looking forward to seeing the quality of the Digital Photo Keychain.

From the Website:
First, I looked up the Pink Digital Photo Keychain on the website to see what it was I was getting.  The price is currently listed at $9.99, which really isn't bad for a nifty little gadget like this. You also have the option of getting it engraved for an extra $5.99, and I can say from experience that their engravings are very professional and elegant!

Quality--Physical
I will admit that when I first looked at the keychain, I was a bit disappointed at the way it looked.  The pink plastic portion looked very cheap to me and the screen seemed small.  I also thought it looked a little strange that the display screen is square and the keychain is rectangular.  I think it would look a lot better if they matched or if the display screen was at least centered.  However, the chain is incredibly well-made and durable! I don't see this keychain getting lost or broken anytime soon.

Using the Keychain
Putting pictures on the keychain was extremely simple.  It can hold up to 140 images!  That was surprising to me for how small the keychain is.  All I had to do to put new pictures on the keychain was connect it to my netbook with the USB cord,  start the program, and find and double-click on the images I wanted.  Super simple!
I also found the menu in the keychain to be very easy to use, too.  There isn't a whole lot to do there, but it was simple and didn't take up much time at all.  However, the quality of the images as they show up on the keychain wasn't as good as I was expecting.  But again, for the price, it's pretty decent.

The Bottom Line
If I wanted another Digital Photo Keychain from Wholesale Keychains (which I very well might), I would probably get the "upgraded" version. The "better" one looks nicer to me, and it's on sale as the same price as the Keychain I received!
The fact of the matter is, I have pretty high standards for gadgets like these, and this one wasn't quite up to par.  But I still hold Wholesale Keychains in high regards (after all, as I mentioned, there are other Digital Photo Keychains there of better quality!).

Disclosure: I was sent a Pink Digital Photo Keychain for review.  I was not compensated in any other way.  All opinions are mine and are 100% honest, as they always have been.

  1. It's funny b/c I just wrote/posted my review of the same product before reading this post and we said almost the exact same things.

  2. I thought it looked really cheap too. I've been debating about doing a review/giveaway. I've read several reviews which said it was really durable though.
