Facebook Updates Screwing With Everyone: Please Read!

Facebook has done it again.  New updates and changes have messed with just about everyone.

Some of you may have noticed that friends or pages you used to see updates from have suddenly disappeared.  That’s because Facebook’s newest updates have dictated that you only see updates from friends and pages you “interact” with, meaning you visit the page often, comment, or “like” things.  So if you got updates from someone/a page and simply read them, their updates might be gone.

If CGA’s updates no longer appear in your feed, there are one of two ways I see that you can fix it.

  1. On the main Facebook page, click the dropdown box listed as “Most Recent” on the top right of your feed.  Then click “Edit Options” at the bottom.  In the window that comes up, click the dropdown box next to “Show posts from:”, and select “All your friends and pages”.
  2. The other way I see to fix it, if you don’t want to see posts from ALL the pages and friends you have, is simply to go to Cheap Geeks Anonymous’ page and like or comment on a few posts.  Granted, I don’t know if this actually works so don’t yell at me if it doesn’t!  I just figure if Facebook wants you to interact with a page in order to see it, you’ll start seeing it if you interact!

So, if you want to continue getting my updates, do one of the two listed above!  If you don’t like my page, maybe you should head over and like me!
